What is RaiseRight?

When your organization members purchase through RaiseRight, they’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash. The RaiseRight is issued by the national and local retailers where families already shop. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations and in return ask you to support them by shopping with RaiseRight at their stores. Salem can use RaiseRight to purchase food, clothing, and other everyday essentials. With each gift card used, we can earn revenue for Salem UMC.

The reason for the effectiveness of RaiseRight is simple: families produce revenue by making purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with RaiseRight. An organization of 150 families easily spends between $1 million to $2 million per year on food, clothing, and other essentials. If these families use RaiseRight for these purchases, we can raise as much as $4,000 to $14,000 per year for Salem UMC.

You can purchase RaiseRight every Sunday, or even during the week, since we now have several gift cards right at the church. These include Amazon – Applebee’s – Arby’s – Bath & Body Works – BP – Bristol 45 Diner – Buffalo Wild Wings – Burger King – Cabela’s – Cheddar’s – Chili’s – Chipotle – Tinseltown–Cinemark – Cousin’s Subs – Cracker Barrel – Culvers – Dunkin Donuts – Festival Foods – Gordon Food Service – IHOP – JC Penney- Joanne Fabrics – Kohl’s – Kwik Trip – Little Ceasar – Lowes – Marathon – Meijer – Menard’s – Mobile – Noodle & Company – Old Navy – Olive Garden – Panera – Pappa Murphy’s – Pizza Hut – Red Lobster – Red Robin – Shell – Subway – Starbucks – Subway- Taco Bell – Target – Texas Road House- TJ Max – Walgreens – Walmart – Wendy’s – Woodmans. 
Everyone shops for groceries every week; make it a practice to buy the gift card from the church.

EVERY SUNDAY AT THE MESSAGE BOARD AREA:
There are order sheets at the back of the church that you fill out for RaiseRight orders. Other than local merchants, your RaiseRight cards will be at the church on Thursday for pick-up.
