The Twelve
Our Production of The Twelve was on Maundy Thursday (April 17,2025) at 7:00 PM where we relived the night of the Last Supper with Jesus and his Twelve Disciples and learned about each of their relationships with God and Jesus.
For 30 years, the story has lived on.
Three decades ago, 13 men were handed a script—an invitation to step into the timeless scene of The Last Supper, as imagined by Leonardo da Vinci. Since then, Salem United Methodist Church has carried this sacred tradition forward.
Our annual performance is more than a reenactment; it is a living legacy. Each year, it continues to evolve, breathing new life into the stories of Jesus and His twelve apostles. Through powerful storytelling and heartfelt portrayals, this production has inspired generations within our congregation.
Our current cast beautifully reflects this blend of tradition and renewal—from disciples who have sat at the table for 30 years, to those taking on the role for the very first time. Together, they carry forward a story that continues to move hearts and deepen faith.
You can still be a witness of this powerful legacy on our Facebook.
