Bible Study

At the Charge Conference on December 8th, we resolved to reorganize the church leadership structure. We need to decide as a church what that is going to look like. We encourage everyone to participate in this book study to help inspire us.

As we move forward looking to grow, we will be doing a group discussion of Mission: Possible for the Small Church by Kay Kotan and Blake Bradford. The book delves into how small churches can reach out and grow.

We will be meeting at 9:00-10:00 AM before church service on Sundays

February 2nd: Chapter 1 "Leading the Small Church"

February 9th: Chapter 2 "Pastoring from the Porch Swing"

February 16th: Chapter 3 "Accountable Leadership: Thumping the Melon" and Chapter 4 “Contextual Leadership"

February 23rd: Chapter 5 "Stay in Your Lane" and Chapter 6 "Structuring Leadership in the Small Church"

March 2nd: Chapter 6 "Structuring Leadership in the Small Church"

March 16th: Chapter 7 "The Small Church Leadership Board at Work" and Chapter 9 "How Do You Get There: SAS Phases in the Small Church" (We are skipping Chapter 8 as it does not pertain to our church)

March 23rd: Chapter 10 "Simple Ministry Planning" and Chapter 11 "Simplifying Ministry"

March 30th: Chapter 12 "Simplifying Small Church Operations"
